Sparkling and Melodious Dinner
Yesterday, our project team members went for a Dinner. We went to Chingari Restuarant which is in Koregaon Park. The group was not that big enough but then also we enjoyed a lot than we expected. The Ambience is very earthy. But one thing was disappointing that it does not serves alcohol.
Since, the fear of Bird Flu was going on; some people were confused whether we should have Chicken and eggs or not. But in the end we decided to go with Seafoods and Mutton. So, we started off with nice and mouth watering starters. Everything was going smooth and well. We ordered the main course also and were about to finish it off. But suddenly a topic of old and new songs came between the discussion; don't know how. Par isse kuch logon ke dil main Chingari bhadak uthi. I think this was due to the atmosphere of Chingari restuarant... just kidding.
The discussion was basically on whether the Old Songs are more melodies and better than the New Songs or viceversa. As the discussion was progressing, it became more interesting and hot. Some people were in the favour of Old Songs, some were in the favour New Songs and some were on both sides. Everybody were expressing their views but the tone of some people went so high that the people sitting around us started staring us, thinking what's going on.
Slowly slowly, the discussion was coming to an end with a funny conclusion that "Purane Zamane main Purane Gaane achhe lagte hain aur Naye Zamane main Naye Gaane achhe lagte hain" and one more "Purane Zamane main Naye Gaane nahi the varna naye gaane bhi achhe lagte".
Thus, we were finally able to order the delicious deserts. Also everybody of us sung some good and melodious songs (according to all members which I think) together like "Gore Gore"(old), "Tu Hi Ree"(New), "Mere Hamsafar"(New)...
Now, it was time to empty our pockets. There was something most astonishing and suprising thing waiting for us to happen. The bill was on the table and we were paying the huge bill with our Credit Card but the restuarant does not accept credit card. Everybody was stunned and were looking each other's face thinking what would be the consequences now. But we all some how managed to pay the huge bill by cash which made many of our's pocket really empty.
To conclude this what I think, is that all the songs are melodious and good from time to time. But some songs are Evergreen, can't live without listening them. There is no point getting into arguments, life is for learning and everyone has it's own thinking you cannot change another person's thinking.
So folks, what do you think, what's you opinion, whether old songs are more melodious and better than new ones or viceversa. Or both are awesome to be heard and sung till infinity.
Happy Valentines Day!
Wishing you all a very Happy Valentines and a Lovely Day!
